Elegant and timeless, this vintage evening bag was hand-beaded in France during the late 1950s to early 1960s. Thousands of tiny glass seed beads form a richly textured black surface, framed by a gilded brass structure and finished with a pavé crystal rhinestone clasp for beautiful sparkle.
The interior is lined in ivory silk satin and includes its original removable silk wallet insert, a detail found only in high-end French couture evening bags. A gold-tone chain allows the bag to be worn on the shoulder or carried as a clutch.
