This statement piece by the famed designer, circa 1940s, is crafted with multiple draped and twisted gold tone chains and sparkling crystals in a peacock palette of rich blue & green. The upper portion of the necklace features a mix of both interlinking and serpentine chains which have been artfully twisted together and are interspersed with crystal beads. These chains meet in the middle of the necklace underneath two pieces of hardware: one curved piece with a textured matte gold finish; the lower piece is done in an open lacy work design. From here, multiple chains dangle freely and are trimmed with crystals and smoothly polished dark green stones. The draping and attention to detail in this 1940s piece are absolutely stunning.
